I’m Laura Carmichael.
This is my blog and portfolio about creating and scaling an outstanding and engaged culture of learning that adds value for all stakeholders. This is for P&O/HR, L&D professionals, and leaders of teams and organizations.
What does it mean to think in systems? It’s looking at how things interrelate. It’s about embracing the complexity of creating adoption for new ways of working throughout an organization, in all contexts— virtually, hybrid and face to face. People initiatives need to support existing business strategy and drive what we imagine is possible.
We can be much more ambitious.

My background includes anthropology, coaching, design thinking and a rich first career as a professional classical musician. Throughout all these experiences, continuous learning, adult development and high creative engagement have been my drivers.
